A lively, clear, and concise resource for beginning readers that treats the significant events in Revere’s life and his place in history. Contrary to what the title suggests, the book speaks little of the famous ride. A small color map of the general area in which the patriot operated provides children with an excellent initial feel for where the events described took place. The quality artwork includes color paintings and drawings. A fine addition to biography collections.
