This is a fun fact-filled series that covers the different divisions of the NBA. Each book highlights a division, its players, and the history of the teams. Each book includes a wealth of statistical information, including team records, career leaders, and members of the Hall of Fame. Also, there is a glossary, timeline, bibliography, and Web sites. The books are full of photographs of both current and legendary players. Sidebars give even more fun facts about players and coaches. Most students love sports and this series offers a wealth of information for them. The books are a little advanced for elementary school students but they will enjoy browsing through them and reading sidebars and photograph captions. I can see this series becoming very popular with students.
