Editorial Review
A noteworthy review of The Human Body from School Library Connection on September 1, 2015

This introductory series provides easy-to-understand information about body systems for young students. Each book details how the body system works in a familiar scenario. Short chapters and simple text allow students to access the information at a developmentally appropriate level. Text boxes with related facts and photographs and illustrated diagrams that offer a look inside the human body help students engage with the content presented. The last chapter offers ways students can keep a particular system healthy, or provides a look into what the system is like in an unhealthy state. This series is a great addition to any library as it provides simple information in a way that engages students. Bibliography. Glossary. Websites. Index.
