Biker gives the history of bicycles and describes the different types available and what they are used for. A section on safety covers helmets, bike maintenance, and basic rules of the road. Both books have clear color photos and refer readers to the publisher’s home page for links about the topic. These realistic titles are well written and provide excellent information, but one must question why they’re marketed just for girls.
