Learning Sight Words

Sight words are a foundation for reading. Because sight words can't be easily sounded out, young readers must memorize them. This series helps young readers learn essential sight words through fun stories. The sight words are repeated on each page to help readers recognize and memorize them. Words highlighted in the books come from the Dolch sight words lists. Bright pictures provide visual cues to help the reader. Additional features include a word list, an introduction to the author, and a note to caregivers and educators.
