Angie Smibert is the author of several young-adult and middle-grade science fiction and fantasy novels. She has also written more than two dozen educational titles just like this one. She was a science writer at NASA's Kennedy Space Center for many, many years. She received NASA's prestigious Silver Snoopy award as well as several other awards for her work.
