Each volume introduces a seven step scientific method: research, question, guess, gather, experiment, review, and conclusion. Students can then engage the method through four easy-to-complete science experiments. Each experiment provides clear, simple directions and guides the student’s inquiry and observation. This series does an outstanding job of preparing students for more advanced experimental projects. The combination of photographs and drawings is both appealing and useful. Teachers will use this series in the classroom, but it is well-suited to independent use as well. Glossary. Index.
